Chromatography

For science this term we have been learning about 
chromatography. 
Chromatography means colour writing. 
We have done one experiment with  smartie and water. We put the smartie on filter paper and dropped small 
drops of water on our smartie.Then we got either a 
pebble or an oompa, the same colour as the smartie and saw if the oompas or pebbles did the same thing that thesmarties did.
The (oompa, smartie or pebbles)  either blended differently or stayed the same colour.
